Dennis Huwaë in Amsterdam started the Edel restaurant. The restaurant, along with a bar, sells a 5-way course meal, cocktails, and wine.
You will find a lot of exciting things on the menu. They serve Oysters, Salade Edel, Steak Tartar, Burrata, Tuna tartar, which is specially cooked in a unique Edel style and, Hoevi Ei.
But these are just starters. The mouth-watering part comes further when you look at the ‘to share or not to share' section where they have burgers, Tartes, and many more. They also have many tasty snacks in the bites' lists. You can even order sidelines with your meal, such as fries with your burger. Their short but scrumptious list of sweets includes fudge brownies, apple pie with whipped cream, sexy strawberries, and Japanese sorbet with three flavours.
The restaurant bar makes it an excellent place for wine lovers. It sells so many wines that you will not have to compromise on your favorite one when dining in Edel. They have many amazing cocktails on their menu, and you can even customize one for yourself. There is also a list of snacks that you can order along with your cocktails.
As for the wines, they have them all: Red, White, and Rose. They have many flavors in red and white wine. The prices per bottle of white wine cost between €30 to €60. The red wine cost per bottle is between €30- €65. Moreover, they also have champagne available both in bottle and glass. The prices per bottle start from €38 and per glass start from €6.50.
The restaurant is a great idea for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and if you have visited Daalder, you probably have an idea of how great food is cooked by Chef Dennis tastes. The restaurant serves breakfast all through the week from 9.00 A.M to 12.00 P.M. Lunch timings at Edel are 11.00 A.M to 2.30 P.M. Dinner time begins at 5.30 P.M and the restaurant closes at 10.00. The bar remains open from 5.30 P.M to 1.00 A.M from Monday to Thursday and 12.00 P.M to 3.00 A.M; on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Not only will you find this restaurant’s food amazing, but it is beautifully built as well. As you make your way in, you see the bar on the left with writings on the walls which glow in the dark. The bar has dim lighting, and the only light that is present comes from the restaurant inside. The way on the right side leads into the restaurant where the first thing you notice is the spray-painted graffiti by Ellie Streetart on an accent wall. The loud and lively colors add life to the room filled with black and dark brown furniture. Overall, the restaurant's interior is as great as the food, and you won't regret it once you pay a visit to the restaurant.
